A Dyersburg physician was arrested by the TBI Monday for fraudulent bililng and illegally prescribing controlled substances. The TBI said Dr. Debra McKenzie, 53, was indicted on one count of TennCare fraud, one count of insurance fraud and one count of improperly prescribing a controlled substance stemming from an incident in March 2008. McKenzie owned and operated her practice at McKenzie Medical Clinic on Lake Road in Dyersburg. She was arrested and released on $15,000 bond.
