Jani Lane, lead singer of Warrant, was found dead Thursday evening inside a California hotel room. A cause of death has yet to be determined. Police found his body at a Comfort Inn in Woodland Hills. Lane, 47, had a history of alcohol abuse including two DUI realted arrests in 2009 and 2010. The 80s hair band rocker was best known for writing the 'sweet' song Cherry Pie.
