J.Lo signs on with Idol, spotted with ex

After being rumored for weeks, American Idol producer Nigel Lythgoe has finally confirmed that Jennifer Lopez will return as judge next season on American Idol.  "I am delighted to say that all three judges, along with the brilliant host of American Idol [Ryan Seacrest], (are) back for the next season," Lythgoe said. Lopez, Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson are set to hit the road soon for season 11 auditions in Denver, Houston, St. Louis, Portland, San Diego, Pittsburgh and Charleston. Rumors claim that J.Lo, who announced her split from Marc Anthony last month, will be getting $20 million for her second season of Idol.

Meanwhile, one month after announcing their split, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony were together again. TMZ cameras caught the pair in the backseat of a red convertible in Southampton, New York. Anthony’s rep said the singer was in town to visit his children.
